Transportation

The International Seating Symposium will be held in downtown Pittsburgh at the David L. Lawrence convention center at 1000 Fort Duquesne Boulevard, Pittsburgh PA, 15222.

To & From the Pittsburgh Airport

The Pittsburgh International Airport is 18 miles from downtown and the Convention Center.  There are several options to get to and from the airport.

Hotel Shuttles

Each of the ISS hotels offer a shuttle service to and from the airport. Contact the hotel in advance for information regarding scheduling and prices.

Lyft / Uber

Lyft and Uber provide service to and from the airport.  The fare is about $35 and the ride is about 20-30 minutes to Downtown and the Convention Center area.

Public Transportation

The most economical and accessible option is to take the 28X bus that goes to and from the airport every 30 minutes and takes about 45 minutes to Downtown and the Convention Center area. Further information can be found here. From the airport proceed to Door 6 in the baggage claim area and the bus stop is to the left. The stop is well-marked with a blue sign for 28X Airport Flyer. The cash fare is $2.75. Tickets can also be purchased at a kiosk in the baggage claim area with a credit card. 

Get off the bus at Liberty Avenue and Wood Street in Downtown.  Then walk up Liberty avenue (about 5 minutes) and turn left on 10thStreet.  The Convention Center is right in front.  The Westin is to the right and Marriott Courtyard is the left.  

To return to the airport, from the Convention Center walk up to Liberty Avenue and turn right.  Go two blocks to Tito Way (across from Wood Street) where the bus stop is located.

SuperShuttle

The Pittsburgh Airport is also served by SuperShuttle.  

Inter-City Bus & Train

Greyhound Bus & Amtrak

The Greyhound Bus and Amtrak Rail stations are both located at 55 11thStreet, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 which is one block away from the Convention Center.

Megabus

The Megabus bus drops off and picks-up directly at the Convention Center.  Go to this link for more information.

Parking

There are several car parking options in and around the convention center as follows:

Convention Center parking: Up to $25.00 USD for 24 hours

Grant Street Garage (above Greyhound station): $13.00 USD daily

Omni parking rate: $36.00 USD daily

Westin parking rate: $22.00 USD daily
